This program provides theory, laboratory, and clinical learning opportunities to develop the student’s knowledge, skills, and attitudes to transition into the professional registered nurse role. Graduates are eligible to apply to take the NCLEX-RN exam for licensure as a registered nurse (RN). After obtaining licensure, students will be prepared to join the workforce.

How Do I Get Into the Healthcare Professional to RN Completion Program?

You want to take your experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse or a Paramedic and take steps to become a Registered Nurse. Connect with an Admissions representative to learn how to get started.

  2. Submit health science application.
  3. Apply for financial aid (FAFSA).
  4. Apply for ICC Scholarships. Just 1 application for over 700 scholarships.
  5. Applicants must have graduated from a state-approved Practical Nursing Program or Paramedic Program.
  6. Applicants must have an active Illinois license as Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Paramedic.

What Can I Expect As a Healthcare Professional to RN Completion Program Student?

Accreditation

Graduates are eligible to take the National Council State Board of Nursing (NCSBN) Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) and may apply for licensure to practice nursing as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
