Application Deadlines
The application deadline for most Health Science programs is January 15 for an August start.

If your program of choice is Central Sterile Technician, Emergency Medical Technician, Fire Science, Health Information Technology, Paramedic, Patient Access Representative, or Radiology Assistant, please complete an Open Admission Form.
Complete Your Health Science Application
Step 1 – Complete Admissions Application
If you have already applied to ICC or are a current ICC student (including early college), please proceed to Step 2.
Step 2 – Activate your Health Science Application
When activating your application, use the same personal email address you used for your admissions application (Gmail, Yahoo, iCloud, etc.). DO NOT use your ICC email address. If you applied to ICC before 2017, contact the admission office to reactivate your application.
Step 3 – Create an Account to Access Health Science Application Portal
To access and complete your application, create an account and set up your password for the Health Science Application portal. When creating your account:
- Please use your personal email address (Gmail, Yahoo, iCloud), when you activated your account in Step 2. This will be your username.
- You will receive an email from “Online Application” with a link to set a password. Once completed, you can log in to complete the application.
If you have already created a password for the Health Science Application portal from a previous Health Science application, go to Step 4. If you do not remember your password, please email [email protected].
Step 4 – Access and Complete your Health Science Application
Please upload a copy of your earned healthcare licenses or certification or provide a URL to access the state database where your licenses or certification are listed.

Program Acceptance
There are additional steps in order to enroll in Health Science classes.
To inquire about health career programs, admission criteria, or the application process, schedule a meeting with a Lead Admission Coordinator specializing in Health Careers at the Illinois Central College Peoria campus. Appointments can be scheduled at either campus for your convenience.

I completed the “Activate Health Science Application” form and nothing is happening
- You may have applied to ICC before 2017. Please call (309) 694-5200 for assistance to activate your application.
- You MUST use a personal email address when completing the “Activate Health Science Application” form. You cannot use your ICC email.

The application is showing that my transcripts are missing but I have already submitted them to ICC.
If you have already submitted your official transcripts, rest assured that ICC still has them, and they will eventually be linked to your application. If you have any questions about this or would like to verify if we have them, please call our office at (309) 690-7530.

I’m having trouble uploading my certificates.
You can email a copy of your certificates to [email protected].

How and when will I know if I have been accepted into the program?
Program invitations are scheduled to be sent out to students in September for a spring start term and March for a fall start term. Please log back into your application to see if you have received a Golden Envelope. Remember, our admission process is ongoing, so if you don’t see the envelope immediately, continue checking back weekly.

My application is at 99% complete. What am I missing?
If your application is at 99%, the last 1% comes after you click the submit button, twice.
