Radiology Assistant


Radiology Assistants work in Diagnostic Imaging Departments to support medical imaging professionals before, during, and after medical imaging exams. From receiving patients into the Diagnostic Imaging Department to preparing patients for their imaging exams, radiology assistants are an integral part of the medical imaging team.

How Do I Get Into the Radiology Assistant Program?

Radiology Assistants are an integral part of a healthcare team who use technologically advanced equipment to help in the diagnosis of disease or injury. Talk to an Admissions representative to learn how to get started.

  1. Complete our quick admissions application.
  2. Submit health science application.
  3. Apply for financial aid (FAFSA).
  4. Apply for ICC Scholarships. Just 1 application for over 700 scholarships.
  5. To pursue this career, you must enjoy math and science, be a caring, compassionate person, be very precise about your work, and be able to communicate effectively.
  6. Upon acceptance to the program, applicants will have to complete a drug screen, fingerprint criminal background check, physical exam, and immunizations.
