Illinois Central Colleges Announces Next President
Congratulations to Dr. Jamonica Rolle
The Illinois Central College Board of Trustees has selected Dr. Jamonica Rolle as the College’s next president following a comprehensive national search. Dr. Rolle will assume the role on July 1 and will lead ICC’s continued advancement as a regional leader in student success, workforce development, and economic vibrancy.
The Board’s decision reflects Dr. Rolle’s demonstrated ability to deliver measurable outcomes in student achievement, strengthen workforce-aligned programming, and build partnerships that support employers and communities. She will guide ICC’s next phase of strategic growth, expanding access, strengthening transfer and career pathways, and advancing the College’s impact across Central Illinois.

- September 30, 2025: Presidential Search Committee convenes for an Organizational Meeting
- November 15, 2025: Presidential application deadline
- December 5, 2025 – January 20, 2026: Search Committee members review candidate materials
- January 26, 2026: Presidential Search Committee convenes to review candidate material
- February 9 – February 11, 2026: Search Committee conducts semifinalists interviews
- March 5 – March 10, 2026: – Finalist interviews
- March 16, 2026: The Board of Trustees convenes to conduct a Special Closed Session meeting
- March 19, 2026: The Board of Trustees convenes for their monthly meeting
- March 25, 2026: The Board of Trustees convenes to conduct a Special Session meeting

The Illinois Central College Board of Trustees has officially charged the below group of people, known as the Presidential Search Committee, with the important responsibility of recommending an advanced group of highly qualified finalists to the Board of Trustees, and ensuring that each candidate is capable of leading ICC with distinction, as the institution’s next President.
