Application Deadlines

The application deadline for most Health Science programs is January 15 for an August start.

*Please be aware that only a few Health Science programs offer a spring term start date.

Before Getting Started

To complete your application, you will need to gather the following information and supporting documents.

  • Current Healthcare Licensure or Certification: Gather your current healthcare licensure or certification. If applicable, provide a URL or link that allows access to the state database verifying your licensure or certification.
  • Supervisor or HR Contact Information: Obtain the name and email address of your supervisor or the name of the company.

Programs Not Requiring an Application

  • Central Sterile Technician
  • Emergency Medical Technician
  • Fire Science
  • Health Information Technology
  • Paramedic
  • Patient Access Representative
  • Radiology Assistant

These programs do not require a Health Science application and do not have an admission deadline. Contact your Student Success Advisor to get started.

Step 1 – Complete Admissions Application

If you have already applied to ICC or are a current ICC student (including early college), please proceed to Step 2.

Step 2 – Activate your Health Science Application

When activating your application, use the same personal email address you used for your admissions application (Gmail, Yahoo, iCloud, etc.). DO NOT use your ICC email address. If you applied to ICC before 2017, contact the admission office to reactivate your application.

Step 3 – Create an Account to Access Health Science Application Portal

To access and complete your application, create an account and set up your password for the Health Science Application portal. When creating your account:

  • Please use your personal email address (Gmail, Yahoo, iCloud), when you activated your account in Step 2. This will be your username.
  • You will receive an email from “Online Application” with a link to set a password. Once completed, you can log in to complete the application.

If you have already created a password for the Health Science Application portal from a previous Health Science application, go to Step 4. If you do not remember your password, please email [email protected].

Please upload a copy of your earned healthcare licenses or certification or provide a URL to access the state database where your licenses or certification are listed.

Program Acceptance

There are additional steps in order to enroll in Health Science classes.

To inquire about health career programs, admission criteria, or the application process, schedule a meeting with a Lead Admission Coordinator specializing in Health Careers at the Illinois Central College Peoria campus. Appointments can be scheduled at either campus for your convenience.
