Workforce Sustainability Center

In Greater Peoria, 60% of jobs require a credential past high school. Currently, only 40% of adults in the region have a post-secondary credential. The new Workforce Sustainability Center will help build a credentialed workforce to the needed 60% by offering pre-apprenticeship and entry-level training in the 13 programs most essential to accelerating workforce development and manufacturing in Central Illinois.

When adults earn credentials with labor market value, it not only changes the trajectories of their lives, but also the lives of their families, while growing the workforce, expanding businesses, and creating a more vibrant regional economy.
