Alumnus of the Last Decade Award

Our Alumnus of the Last Decade Award is a way to recognize and honor an outstanding ICC Alumnus who has completed 30 credit hours or a certificate or degree at ICC within the last decade. Recipients have demonstrated achievements in his/her career field, committed to improving education in the ICC district, or outstanding service to our community.

Meet the 2024 Winner – Jona Hall

After graduating from ICC in 2020 with the support of the United Methodist Women scholarship, Jona Hall transferred to Pennsylvania State University as an online student. Thanks to the number of courses she completed at ICC, Jona completed her bachelor’s degree in journalism a year early. Jona works as a paralegal for Pioletti, Pioletti, and Nichols law firm in Eureka, where she enjoys helping people through her work.

Jona’s commitment to community service is evident in the two non-profits she has created. While attending Penn State, she founded Zeta Mu Phi, an organization that provides resources, support, and scholarships to online students. In 2023, Jona also founded Illuminate: Lighting the Way Against Trafficking and Abuse.

Jona’s unwavering dedication to helping others, combined with her tireless work ethic and passion for making a difference, is creating positive change and inspiring those around her.
