Academic Advisement

If you have not been admitted to ICC yet, start with a Campus Visit. There are in-person and virtual options available. Admissions staff will help you through the first steps of enrolling.

How to Make an Advising Appointment

Once you’ve been admitted, you’ll be assigned to a student success advisor. If you don’t know who your student success advisor is, visit MyICC and click on the MyICC (eServices) tile. You may need to enter your login and password (if you’ve forgotten your login or password, call the Help Desk at (309) 694-5457). On the left-side navigation menu, select the Academics dropdown and then select Advisor Information.

To make an appointment with your student success advisor:

Select your career cluster group below and click the Schedule Appointment button. If you have not chosen a major, select the cluster group that best aligns with your career interests.
Choose your assigned student success advisor and the appointment type (in-person, phone, or virtual).
Pick a date and time in the calendar section.
Answer the required questions and click the Book button.
