Join the S.A.F.E. Club for a viewing of “Plastic Oceans,” a documentary about the amount of plastic in our bodies of water and how it impacts marine life. S.A.F.E stands for Student Association for the Environment. The club promotes, through action and education, the importance of sustainability through service.
The Student Association for the Environment (SAFE) Club will hold a woodland clean-up day to tidy up behind the student dorms. Volunteers should meet at Building 100 on the East Peoria Campus at 1 pm. A pizza party will be held afterward for those who participate.
The Student Association for the Environment (SAFE) will be holding a sustainability contest for all ICC students to provide support or new insights on sustainability. Students can give slide presentations, make artwork, provide ideas for legislation, or engineer a hypothetical new way to recycle.
