Illinois Central College Announces Community Open Forums with Presidential Finalists
Following a comprehensive and competitive search process, the Illinois Central College Presidential Search Committee has selected three distinguished finalists in the national search for the College’s next president and will host public forums to engage the community in the final stage of the selection process. Each finalist will visit campus separately, with open forums scheduled for:
- Thursday, March 5
- Monday, March 9
- Tuesday, March 10
All community forums will be held from 4:00 to 5:00 pm on the East Peoria Campus in Room 212.
To honor the integrity of the search process and respect the professional responsibilities of the finalists, candidate names and biographical information will be released the week of March 2, prior to the campus visits. At that time, credentials and background information will be made publicly available.
The community forums are designed to encourage dialogue and provide the Central Illinois community with the opportunity to engage with each finalist. Feedback gathered during these sessions will help inform the Board of Trustees as it prepares to select the next president of Illinois Central College.
Illinois Central College serves as a vital driver of educational attainment and workforce development throughout Central Illinois. The appointment of the College’s next president will shape ICC’s continued commitment to student achievement, transfer success, career readiness, and strong partnerships with business, industry, and community leaders.
Community members are encouraged to attend and participate in this important moment for the future of Illinois Central College.
