Students and parents gathering for orientation

New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation is a fantastic way to prepare for the new semester, meet new people – and potentially win a $100 Bookstore Gift Card.

By attending an in-person orientation, you will learn about the various support services available, what to do before you start your first day of class, and have fun in the process. This orientation is a terrific way to meet other students, along with some of the faculty and staff.

What to Expect at Orientation

During orientation, you’ll get the opportunity to:

  • Learn to navigate the physical campus and the virtual aspects of classroom life.
  • Connect with fellow students, build friendships, and find your community at Illinois Central College.
  • Hear from faculty and staff who will support you on your journey.
