In this hands-on workshop, Jo Elyn Smith with the University of Illinois Extension, will help you start a container garden and learn the types of containers suitable for gardening, how to evaluate available space and sunlight, and practice using the info on seed packets.

SAFE Woodland Clean-up & Pizza Party

The Student Association for the Environment (SAFE) Club will hold a woodland clean-up day to tidy up behind the student dorms. Volunteers should meet at Building 100 on the East Peoria Campus at 1 pm. A pizza party will be held afterward for those who participate.
