Want a chance at one of 10 cash prizes? Love writing? Submit your work to the ICC Student Life Writing Contest. 1st place ($75), 2nd place ($50), and 3rd place ($25) will be awarded in each of three categories: documented research paper; creative writing/short story; and poetry/lyrics.
Only 1st place ($75) will be awarded for the Paul Simon Student Essay Contest topic: an essay of 500 words or less on “How my community college changed my life.” The winner’s essay will be submitted to the state contest for a chance to win $500.
Submit your (original) work for either contest in a Word document to [email protected] by noon on March 8.
