Academics
Theatre
The Theatre area of study, leading to an Associate in Arts degree, is designed to prepare for transfer to a four-year university after completing the four semester program. We offer study in both Performance and Technical areas, one-on-one advisement with classes, and help to explore possible careers associated with theatre, film, and television. The program begins to prepare students interested in careers in Acting, Directing, Arts Management, Teaching, Scenic, Costume, Lighting, and Make-up Design. The program produces four shows per year in multiple venues. This practical experience is invaluable and allows the student the opportunity to work in all areas of the theatre and gain insight and understanding of the theatrical process.
