The job is flexible around your class schedule. Working as a tutor will sharpen your academic and communication skills. The ASC is a friendly and pleasant place to work!

The Academic Support Center (ASC) is a tutoring service that supports students’ academic success and encourages students’ independence by embracing diversity and promoting collaborative learning in positive and welcoming environments.

We do this with a mixture of in-person tutoring, online tutoring, and year-round workshops. Our staff is a mix of students and professionals. Professionals have completed at least an associate’s degree, and students have taken the courses that we support at ICC and have achieved a minimum grade of B. We have locations at the East Peoria and Peoria Campuses.
