This program is intended to provide students with the knowledge to work in the energy areas, building environment, building management and other jobs yet to be defined. This is an area that is still evolving and developing. The students will learn what sustainability and green is all about and become better stewards of the environment.
The core courses will address systems and strategies for designing and maintaining healthy and productive indoor environments and the critical role of an integrated design team.

Previous experience in energy areas is not required to enter the program. Students need to have basic computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint before admission into this program.
Students must provide the following items: safety glasses with side shields, work gloves, basic scientific calculator, and thumb drive.
After completion students can pursue the Green Building Environment Associate in Applied Science Degree.
