DESCRIPTION:The Commencement ceremony is an opportunity for you\, your family\, and your friends to celebrate your accomplishment of achieving this milestone in your education. The 2026 Commencement ceremony is at the Peoria Civic Center on Sunday\, May 17\, 2026. The event will be live-streamed at 2:00 pm on YouTube\, Facebook\, and Tassel. \nIn addition to announcing the graduates\, Bruce Budde\, Interim ICC President\, will make live remarks\, and our commencement keynote speaker\, as well as inspirational words from commencement keynote speaker\, Randy Yedinak\, Circuit Judge for Livingston County in the Eleventh Judicial District. \nCongrats to ICC Grads!\nDon’t forget to tag your photos with #ICCGRAD2026 on social media and utilize the fun resources in the ICC Graduation Toolkit. \nGraduates who registered for commencement may visit Tassel after the ceremony to download and share their personalized commencement slides. You can also order your announcements\, class ring\, or diploma frame. \nCap and Gown Pickup\nYou can purchase your pre-ordered cap and gown at the East Peoria Campus Bookstore the week of April 27 – May 1. If you did not pre-order\, a limited supply of caps and gowns is available for $39.75 + tax. For pricing of individual pieces\, please contact the Bookstore at (309) 694-5208 or bookstore@icc.edu. \nAttending Commencement\nEach guest will be allowed to carry one clear plastic\, vinyl\, or PVC bag that does not exceed 12″x 6″ x 12″ or one 1-gallon clear plastic bag. Each guest will be allowed to carry one small clutch that does not exceed 5″ x 8″.
