Illinois Central College Open on Saturdays, January 9 and 16
COVID-19 has made college decisions challenging and delayed. To better assist potential and current students, Illinois Central College will open on Saturday, January 9 and Saturday, January 16 from 9 am to 1 pm on its East Peoria campus. During these special Saturday hours, services are available in Access Services, Admissions, Advising, Enrollment, Financial Aid, Testing, and the Bookstore.
“Opening the two Saturdays before the start of the spring semester allows students the opportunity for easier access to the college. ICC is committed to removing barriers for students to help move their futures forward,” said ICC President Dr. Sheila Quirk-Bailey. “This allows those with a change in spring plans, those with limited availability during the week, or those needing assistance with enrollment to receive the help they need on ICC’s campus.”
No appointment is needed to drop off documents or visit the Bookstore, Admissions and Enrollment Services (payment options, financial aid, residency, enrollment questions); however advance appointments are required for Advising, Testing and Access Services. For the safety of all, masks are required on ICC campus.
In addition, ICC Student Services is also offering virtual extended hours Monday through Thursday until 8 pm through January 21. Regular on-campus hours during the week are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
