Nominations for Diversity & Staff Who Make a Difference Awards

ICC faculty, staff and students may nominate faculty or staff who have demonstrated exceptional behaviors of excellence.

Criteria for Awards

Faculty and staff must exemplify ICC’s Diversity Pledge:

Faculty exemplifying diversity:

  • Incorporate diverse values in the classroom and/or through projects outside of class
  • Make the classroom accessible for and supportive of diverse learning styles
  • Use innovative teaching methods to support students with special learning needs
  • Mentor underrepresented students

Staff exemplifying diversity:

  • Incorporate diverse values in their position
  • Display a commitment to diverse cultures, religions, and abilities
  • Contribute to the cross-cultural environment of the College
  • Mentor underrepresented students
