Have you had one or more exceptional instructors who have really helped you learn? Inform us by nominating each one for a faculty award. Complete the nomination form below; then click submit. To get you thinking, “Seven Principles for Good Practice in Undergraduate Education” listed below are researched examples of effective teaching practices.

Outstanding Faculty:

  3. Encourage active learning
  4. Give prompt feedback
  5. Emphasize time on task
  6. Communicate high expectations
  7. Respect diverse talents and ways of learning
