Upcoming Blackboard Jumpstart & Boot Camp Sessions
The Teaching & Learning Center is offering a combination Jumpstart/Boot Camp in November. This updated series is designed for full-time and adjunct faculty who wish to use Blackboard as a supplemental tool in their classes. Both novice and experienced users can benefit from the course.
This is an intense, fast-paced workshop with hands-on activities covering many of the basic tools that are available within Blackboard. It is recommended for faculty planning to teach online or hybrid courses or looking to more fully supplement their face-to-face courses. The series consists of four face-to-face sessions. Please plan to attend all sessions.
All sessions are scheduled from 1:15 – 4:15 pm in Room 306A, East Peoria Campus.
- Monday, November 10: Part I will focus on customizing your Blackboard course navigation menu and learning how to effectively use the Control Panel.
- Wednesday, November 12: Part II tackles adding and managing content within your Blackboard courses.
- Monday, November 17: Part III takes an in-depth look into assessment and evaluation tools available within Blackboard.
- Wednesday, November 19: Part IV will wrap-up with discussion and application of additional Blackboard tools and features.
