RSVP to TLC for December Blackboard Training
This month the Teaching & Learning Center staff will offer two series of Blackboard Training designed for both full-time and adjunct faculty – both novice and experienced users can benefit from the series.
The recommended full Blackboard training series runs 12 hours. Attendees are welcome to spend time between sessions working in the TLC on the skills learned during each session. Feel free to sign up for whichever topics interest you or to mix & match series sessions if you are unable to attend all four from the same series.
View the full schedule at December 2018 Blackboard Training.

Part I will introduce participants to TLC & Blackboard resources and will focus on customizing your Blackboard course navigation menu and designing courses that are effective for students to navigate.
Part 2 tackles adding, organizing, and managing content within your Blackboard courses – with a particular emphasis on Assignment, SafeAssign, and Inline Grading – as well as using collaborative tools like the discussion forum.
Part 3 takes an in-depth look into assessment and evaluation tools available within Blackboard, as well as options for customizing and managing the Blackboard Grade Center.
Part 4 will wrap-up with discussion and application of additional Blackboard tools that focus on student performance and learner support. During the final session, participants will have an opportunity to showcase their work from the training series.
