Join ICC Library for “One Book, One College” Events in October for a Chance to Win “The Alchemist”

Students, faculty and staff are invited to attend “One Book, One College” events.

This year “One Book, One College” is exploring the theme of persistence by promoting the reading of The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and various persistence related events.

Upcoming events on the East Peoria Campus include:

  • TED Talk and Discussion- “The Surprising Habits of Original Thinkers” by Adam Grant
    • October 7 at noon in Room 213A
  • Faculty presentation with Ray Kowalczyk 
    • October 11 at noon in Room 212 C/D
  • TED Talk and Discussion- “Your Elusive Creative Genius” by Elizabeth Gilbert
    • October 21 at noon in Room 213A
  • Faculty presentation with Chris Gauthier
    • October 26 at noon in Room 212 C/D

Attendees can enter to win a copy of The Alchemist at each event. Sign-in sheets are available for students.
