Food Drive Underway to Benefit ICC Students in Need
The ICC Food Pantry is accepting food items that will be distributed to our own students in need. Items may be dropped off throughout the month of November with collection boxes at the East Peoria Campus, Downtown, and ICC North.
Plan to drop off your non-perishable food items at any of the locations listed below. Items that make or contribute to a nutritious meal are preferred, including things like meal helpers, pasta, peanut butter, and canned meat.
This year’s drive features “theme weeks” during which different items will be featured for donation each week of the month (although all items will gladly be accepted). The week of November 4 proteins are featured (meat, tuna, peanut butter). The week of November 11 is carbs (rice, pasta, meal helpers), and the week of November 18 is fruit and veggie week.
