Don’t Shoot Panel Discussion Wednesday, March 27
ICC’s Public Service and Community Outreach Department will host a panel discussion on the status of the Don’t Shoot Program in Peoria on Wednesday, March 27, from 9:30 to 10:30 am. The event will be held at the ICC North Campus in the Arbor Hall auditorium, 5407 N. University St., Peoria. Admission is free and open to the public. Participants are urged to arrive early, as seating is limited.
Panelists scheduled to participate include: Peoria Mayor Jim Ardis, Peoria Police Chief Steve Settingsgaard, Peoria County State’s Attorney Jerry Brady, Peoria County Sheriff Mike McCoy and Assistant U.S. Attorney Tate Chambers. They will provide criminal justice students from ICC and Bradley University, as well as community members, a status report on how the program is playing in Peoria.
