SUMMARY:ICC Theatre Presents Stop Kiss
DESCRIPTION:Come see ICC Theatre program students in their production of Stop Kiss by Diana Son. This Obie and GLAAD Media Award-winning play explores friendship\, love\, and the ripple effects of a single defining moment. \nThe story follows Callie\, a New York City radio traffic reporter\, and Sara\, a schoolteacher from the Midwest who moves to the city to teach third-grade students in the Bronx. Both women have boyfriends\, but as their friendship deepens\, they slowly discover they might be falling in love. \nTheir tentative first kiss in public provokes a violent hate crime\, changing their lives in ways they couldn’t have predicted. What begins as a connection between strangers becomes the center of a powerful\, surprising journey.
