Submit your work to the ICC Student Life Writing Contest. 1st place ($75)\, 2nd place ($50)\, and 3rd place ($25) will be awarded in each of three categories: documented research paper; creative writing/short story; and poetry/lyrics. \nOnly 1st place ($75) will be awarded for the Paul Simon Student Essay Contest topic: an essay of 500 words or less on “How my community college changed my life.” The winner’s essay will be submitted to the state contest for a chance to win $500. \nSubmit your (original) work for either contest in a Word document to writingcontest@icc.edu by noon on March 8.

DESCRIPTION:Get your cameras out and charge your batteries. The ICC Student Short Film Fest is back!  All current and former ICC students\, as well as prospective ICC students and community members\, are encouraged and invited to submit a short film (10 minutes or less) of any genre (animation\, stop-motion\, documentary\, music video\, drama\, comedy\, etc.) to our 2024 ICC Student Short Film Fest.  Entries will be accepted between February 1 and March 22\, 2024. Winning entries will be shown\, and prizes will be awarded during ICC Arts Week\, April 15-19\, 2024.
