Women’s Volley Tournament Recap

On Saturday, November 6, the Illinois Central College Volleyball team hosted the District “Central B” Tournament. The Cougars faced off against #7 Southwestern Illinois in the semifinals, and then #3 Heartland Community College in the championship.

ICC won against #7 Southwestern Illinois in four sets. The scores were Southwestern Illinois: 22-25, ICC: 25-10, ICC: 25-19, and ICC: 25-10.

ICC lost against #3 Heartland Community College in three sets. The scores were Heartland: 18-25, Heartland: 22-25, and Heartland: 19-25.

Congratulations to the Cougars on an action-packed weekend filled with great volleyball and for a fantastic season. The team finished the season with a 28-15 record.
