Super Bowl Weekend
With Super Bowl weekend underway, it is almost the big day. Each year is a big celebration to watch the final game of the NFL season, and Super Bowl LVI will be here any day now. Here are three things I look forward to each year for the big game.
Watching the game itself with friends or family is a perfect way to spend the Sunday evening. There is nothing better than watching two of the best teams compete for a championship trophy. The Super Bowl is the game of the year and the most-watched television event in the United States. Come together with people you know and enjoy the excitement of the game.
The food variety at a Super Bowl party is crucial. I make a “Chili Chip Dip” with salsa, queso, ground beef, and chili powder each year. This is a tradition I have done since I was a child and continued to carry it on. Whether it’s a chip dip or grilling out, find a way to incorporate food into your party to make for a great time.
Commercials and the Pepsi Halftime show are additional bonuses to Super Bowl Sunday. Many viewers tune in to the game to watch the advertisements. They can be very entertaining, and each year people try to find their favorite one from the night. This year’s halftime show has an ecstatic roster: Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J Blige, and Kendrick Lamar. Enjoy the show while listening to talented hip-hop and R&B artists and their songs.
These are a few things I enjoy the most during Super Bowl weekend. What are your top 3 favorite Super Bowl traditions? Check out this week’s Top 3 and share your responses at ICC Top 3.
