Lunch & Learn with Elevator Speech
Elevator speech – (noun) – Brief, persuasive speech used to spark interest in what your organization does (or what you do for a living). A good elevator pitch should last no longer than a short elevator ride of 20 to 30 seconds, hence the name.
You, ICC employees, are the College’s best marketing tool. Are you able clearly relate the “ICC story” to neighbors, friends, and people you meet in public? When faced with the opportunity to explain to others the value ICC presents to the community, are you stumped for the right words?
Join Vice President of Marketing and Institutional Advancement Kim Armstrong for Lunch and Learn sessions aimed at drafting consistent messaging everyone will be able to remember and use to tell the “ICC story” or “Elevator Speech.” The final, approved ICC Elevator Speech will be presented in January at the Celebration of Learning.
All employees are encouraged to attend, but please obtain your supervisor’s approval beforehand.
