Greetings from Harrison, Arkansas
The ICC women’s basketball team will open play as the #8 overall seed at the NJCAA Division II National Tournament on Tuesday, March 20 vs. #9 seed Ancilla College out of Plymouth, Indiana. All tourney games will be at North Arkansas College, located in Harrison, AR (which is about 30 minutes south of Branson, MO).
Scouting Ancilla: The Chargers are 25-5 overall, having won their region tournament over Lake Michigan College. They are riding an eight-game win streak, and are led by the one-two punch of 5’2 point guard LaRae Roscoe (16 ppg & 4 apg) and 5’11 forward Brynda Krueger (13 ppg & 8 rpg). They have a solid core of players (Q Merriweather averaging 10 ppg and 44 made threes, Karson Williams with 46 threes, and Hannah Stolte with 8 ppg) and will look to use full-court pressure and play a fast-paced style.
