ICC Theatre Program presents 7 Performances of Blue Window Opening April 12
The Illinois Central College Theatre Program presents Craig Lucas’ Blue Window, opening April 12 for seven performances in the studio theatre of the ICC Performing Arts Center, located on the East Peoria Campus.
This dramatic comedy was a long running off-Broadway hit that takes place before, during and after a dinner party, the guests of which are revealed with touching comic irony as a cross-section of modern day humanity. The colorful cast includes a narcissistic actor, a parachute instructor, an aspiring songwriter, a secretary and a lesbian couple.
The show is rated PG 13 for adult subject matter.
The show runs for seven performances between April 12 and April 20. There are no performances April 15 or 16. All shows start at 7:30 pm except the April 14 performance, which begins at 2:30 pm.
Cast members, their hometowns and their roles include: Amilia Dierks of Morton as Alice; Josh Graff, Manito, Griever; Vanessa Hesh, Pekin, Boo; Brionna Johnson, Peoria, Libby; Destiny Jording, Peoria, Emily; Seamus Kelly, Easton, Norbert; and Noah Lane, Trivoli, Tom.
Stacey Munsell directs the ICC production. The show is produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.
Tickets cost $8 for the general public and $6 for students and senior citizens.
The production is presented by the Arts at ICC, which has a rich history of enhancing the arts community and expanding education beyond the classroom. Arts at ICC presents more than 500 exhibits, performances, lectures, rehearsals, meetings, master classes, clinics, seminars, receptions, orientations, forums, auditions and tournaments annually.
