ICC’s “Between the Lines” Program Marks Anniversary with “25 Years of Between the Lines: A Celebration” December 7
Illinois Central College’s “Between the Lines” Program will mark its silver anniversary with “25 Years of Between the Lines: A Celebration”, on Monday, December 7, at 2:30 pm, in Room 212C/D on the ICC East Peoria Campus.
In the Fall of 1990, ICC English department faculty developed a community service program called Travels Through Literature. Over the years, the program’s location, format, logo, and even title changed. However, the passion for stories is still going strong. Join ICC for the 162nd presentation as it celebrates 25 years of loving literature by looking back . . . and looking forward!
(Pssst! Every good party has cake . . . and we promise to share!)
“Between the Lines” is a lecture series presented by the faculty members of the English, Humanities and Language Studies Department at ICC. The goal of the series is to offer literary presentations which will interest students and people in the community as well as promote reading literacy and scholarly study.
The programs are free and open to the public.
