Update to Veterans Benefits Processing
To request use of veteran benefits, students will need to submit the Request for Certification form to the Veterans Services Office each semester.
2021 Veterans Day
Illinois Central College extends its utmost gratitude to our heroes this Veterans Day week by offering a free meal to those who served our country. ICC student and employee veterans were sent an email with directions to claim their complimentary meal voucher on Monday, November 8. Meal vouchers can be redeemed in the Canteen Dining Halls on both campuses Nov. 8- 12. Thank you, veterans, for your service and sacrifice.
We want to help you make the transition from military to civilian life. We will guide you to the resources and all the benefits available to you, whether you have completed your service and are enrolling for the first time, interrupted your education to serve and are now returning to ICC, or began your studies elsewhere and are transferring to ICC. We want to help you make the most of your ICC experience.
You may be eligible to receive benefits through one or more of the following educational programs:
- Post 9/11 GI Bill®
- Post 9/11 transferability
- Montgomery GI Bill®
- Dependent Educational Assistance (DEA)
- Vocational Rehabilitation (VocRehab)
- Tuition Assistance for Service Members
Honoring Illinois’ Fallen
Illinois Central College honors the Illinois Flag Display Act in accordance with the State of Illinois. Accordingly, the college flies the flag of the United States of America and the Illinois state flag at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on the day of the funeral of every fallen Illinois soldier and the two days preceding that day.
