Academics

Course Permission Request

In order to take an ICC course with a pre-requisite you completed at either high school or another college/university, we will need proof. Pre-requisites for ICC courses can be found in either our Complete Course Descriptions or our current Class Schedule.

Math Bridge Program

The ICC Math Bridge Program is designed to help future or current ICC students who are close to placing into the required math course for their major and need to refresh or strengthen their mathematical skills. We use ALEKS-PPL (an online, adaptive self-paced platform) to refresh math skills and, hopefully, improve placement.

Field Trip Interest

Our next Field Trip will be to the Rocky Mountains and is set for July 27 – August 12, 2018. Please fill out the Field Trip Interest Form and we’ll send you the details once they are available.

Pre-Medical, Pre-Dental

Suggested courses are those that are required to be completed before a student sits for the MCAT and DAT (medical and dental school entrance exams).  A regular program of study in one of the established academic fields is generally recommended as the best preparation. Although a major in any academic field is usually acceptable, majors in biology and chemistry are especially suitable since major requirements in these fields overlap with pre-professional requirements.
