Student Disciplinary Process

The COVID mandate requires that students who regularly come to campus (in-person and hybrid courses, student activities, etc.) must provide documentation of either being fully vaccinated or proof of weekly COVID-19 testing. Students who are not in compliance with the state mandate requirements are subject to the College’s disciplinary process, which includes up to administrative withdrawal from in-person/hybrid courses.

The formal COVID disciplinary process will begin February 7, 2022, for the Spring 2022 semester and will proceed as follows:

  • Strike 1: Following a first non-compliance offense, the student will receive a text, an email to their ICC email account, and a written letter mailed to their home address, and a record of this offense will be entered into their permanent disciplinary file.
  • Strike 2: Following a second non-compliance offense, the student will receive a text, an email to their ICC email account, and a written letter mailed to their home address, and a record of the offense will be entered into their permanent disciplinary file.
  • Strike 3: Following a third non-compliance offense, the student will receive a final text, a final email to their ICC email account, and a final written letter mailed to their home address, and the student will be administratively withdrawn from in-person/hybrid courses. A record of the offense will be entered into their permanent disciplinary file.

Please email [email protected] or call (309) 694-5422 to discuss any barriers to providing your COVID vaccine card or test results to the Cleared4 system. You can find more information on how to access your Cleared4 on the testing information page.

We want to work with you to eliminate any barriers, so you can provide the required documentation and successfully complete the semester. It is your responsibility to reach out to discuss this process and its impact on you.
