Academic Support Center

The Academic Support Center continues to support students online and alternative instruction methods. Online tutoring is available. We also offer assistance with adapting to the online learning environment such as Blackboard. See our webpage for more information.

Access Services

Students with disabilities should send each of their faculty a picture of their blue accommodation card that was issued to them to continue to receive necessary testing and other accommodations online. Additional questions can be emailed to [email protected].

Admissions

Advising Services

Advisors are working remotely to continue assisting students with Summer and Fall enrollment. Please schedule your appointments online or email your advisor.  Advisors are available for consultation via phone, Skype, or email.  For questions, please call 309-694-5281 and your call will be forwarded to the appropriate advisor. Cooperative Agreements (C.A.R.E.E.R. Programs)

If you are an in-district student who wants to enroll in an applied science career degree program, but ICC does not offer your area of interest, you may be able to attend the program of your choice at another Illinois community college at that institution’s in-district rate. For more information and apply for the Comprehensive Agreement Regarding the Expansion of Education Resources agreement, visit our webpage.

Career Services can assist you with career planning, resume development and preparation for a job search. Change Request – Degree or Certificate of Study

If you are a new student who applied to ICC but never attended, took classes in the past and are now returning, or decided to pursue a new program of study, please complete the appropriate form below and email it to [email protected].
* Degree of Study Change Request Form if interested in Associate in General Studies, Associate in Arts, Associate in Science or Associate in Engineering Science degree.
* Certificate of Study Change Request Form if enrolling in a certificate program.
Once we receive your information, we will update your program and you will be able to enroll classes in your correct program of study.

Counseling

If you are in need of community support (food, etc), our counseling staff has up-to-date information on community resources available. Contact us at [email protected]  In addition, ICC offers virtual counseling services for all current ICC students. A HIPAA-compliant format is used to ensure confidentiality is maintained. If you are interested in making a counseling appointment during this time, please email us or visit the online scheduler on our webpage.

Enrollment Services

Most enrollment-related services are available online through MyICC and the College website. Our staff are working remotely and will be responding to questions and assisting students virtually. Contact us by email at [email protected]. We are able to set up a Skype or Zoom meeting for a more personal experience. Fall Enrollment will open for registration on April 6. Detailed instructions on how to enroll using MyICC. If there is a hold on your account that is blocking your ability to enroll, please read and follow the hold instructions. Enrollment and Degree Verifications

If you need a letter stating your dates of enrollment for loan deferment, good student discount or an enrollment verification please complete the Enrollment Verification form and email it to [email protected].

High School Transcripts

If you have been asked to provide your official high school transcript, please contact your high school directly to request a copy be set to Illinois Central College. Most high schools are able to send official transcripts electronically through a digital credential service such as Parchment. If the transcript has to be mailed, please send to: Enrollment Services, Illinois Central College, 1 College Drive, East Peoria, IL 61635.

Library

The Library is online and ready to support students through chat and email. We also offer assistance with adapting to the online learning environment such as Blackboard. Find all of your online library resources and connect with a librarian by going to our webpage.

Pass / No Pass Grade Option

An optional pass/no pass grading policy has been extended for the Summer 2020 semester and supersedes all other conflicting published policies, procedures and provisions in the ICC Catalog. The decision to convert a letter grade to a pass/no pass grade is a serious decision and should not be taken lightly. Please read the full Pass/No Pass Grade Option policy. Students are also highly encouraged to talk with their academic advisor or program director. This option to select a pass/no pass grade opens on July 31, 2020 and the last date to select the option is August 7, 2020. No changes will be allowed after that date. The form will be available July 31, 2020.

Testing Center

In-person testing at ICC is suspended. All regular proctored tests will be done through the instructors. If you need to take a placement test or need a reader or a scribe for a proctored test, please contact us at [email protected] or [email protected].
