This grant is awarded to Illinois residents with financial need who are enrolled in an eligible program, register for at least 3 credit hours per semester and meet the priority filing deadline for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) disburses these funds to schools. The award is usually not received by the college in the semester for which it has been awarded. As soon as the funds are received by the college every effort is made to disburse the funds to student accounts as quickly as possible.
The MAP grant was awarded but will not be disbursed if you still have the IL Residency item listed on your To-Do list in eServices. You must provide this documentation in order for the MAP grant to disburse.
To accept this award there is nothing you need to do. These funds are automatically requested from ISAC for each eligible student.
