Social Events

QUEST is the place to meet your friends at ICC! Each semester, we sponsor a variety of social events. Picnics, holiday parties, seminars, volunteer opportunities, and cultural events, just to name a few.

Once a semester, we sponsor a one-day QUEST trip. Past trips have included visits to the City Museum in St. Louis, horseback riding at Turkey Run State Park, tours of the Art Institute in Chicago, and more! QUEST students plan the trips, so you can help us decide where we’ll go next!

Volunteer Opportunities
One of the most rewarding aspects of college life is the opportunity to volunteer. When a student volunteers his or her time to an organization either off campus or on campus, their time spent can be personally gratifying.

Some annual events are:

• New Student Orientation
• Discover College (for high school juniors, seniors, and parents)
• Scholastic Bowl
• Transfer Dinner (for transferring sophomores and parents)
• Plus many more!

Tickets for Cultural Events
QUEST students are eligible to receive FREE tickets to area theater productions, concerts, and other cultural events. A number of classes at ICC require students to attend theater productions, so QUEST students have the chance to attend these events for free.

• QUEST has event tickets available for theater productions put on by the Peoria Players, the Peoria Civic Center, the ICC Performing Arts Center, Bradley’s Hartman Theater, and more!
• Students can sign up to receive one free ticket to a production by stopping by the QUEST Office, Room 302B.
• Tickets are on a first come, first serve basis, and may be picked up immediately in the QUEST Office, Room 302B. Tickets are limited... one ticket for one event, per month. (A waiting list will be generated for extra tickets to events that you are interested in attending.)
• Tickets will be available for pick up two weeks prior to the date of the event.
• If tickets are not claimed three days prior to an event, students on the waiting list will have the opportunity to have additional tickets for that month. (If you have signed up on the waiting list for an extra ticket, it is your responsibility to check with the QUEST staff three days prior to the event.)
