TazWood Dance Company Holds Final Performance “One Last Time” at ICC December 13

TazWood Dance Company, in-residence at Illinois Central College since 1989, will perform its final event, One Last Time, on December 13, at 7:30 pm, in the ICC Performing Arts Center, located on the ICC East Peoria Campus.

This is the final performance by TazWood Dance Company, which was founded in 1982 by Mary Dexter. This show will feature present and former dancers from TWDC as well as children from the community representing elementary, middle and many home-schooled families. Together, the show will include a cast of over 40 performers.

For everyone who has enjoyed the TazWood Dance Company performances throughout the past 32 years and for those who just love great dancing, you will not want to miss this farewell event. A wide variety of dances will be performed live and on video, including A Comedy Tonight, Skyfall, Deck the Halls, I Will Remember, 42nd Street, children from the community in music from Frozen, audience participation with Little Red Riding Hood, and so much more.

An open reception follows the performance.

TWDC takes pride in the fact that its shows have always been suitable for families, affordable and offer a wide variety of dance all in the same show. Come to the show, and give TWDC a great send-off.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students and senior citizens. Tickets can be purchased online at ArtsAtICC.com or by calling the ICC Performing Arts Center Box Office at (309) 694-5136. Since this is TazWood Dance Company’s final show, it is suggested to purchase tickets early.
