Spring 2016 Commencement is Saturday, May 14

ICC will celebrate its Spring 2016 Commencement on Saturday, May 14 at 9:30 a.m. at the Peoria Civic Center. Of the nearly 1,200 students receiving degrees and/or certificates, a record number of approximately 325 graduates are expected to participate in the ceremony.

Snow, Capitan LisaPeoria Police Department Assistant Chief and ICC alum, Dr. Lisa Snow, will be the keynote speaker. She is the first female to hold the role in the Peoria Police Department and previously served as juvenile detective, hostage negotiator, police sergeant and captain. Her accolades include two Distinguished Service Awards, the Jaycee’s Prescott Bloom Memorial Distinguished Service Award, the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command Franklin Kreml Leadership Award, as well as the ICC Distinguished Alumni Award. She has a bachelor’s in administration of criminal justice and a master’s in counseling and human development from Bradley University. She earned her doctorate in human resource education from the University of Illinois. Snow also is a graduate of the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command as well as the FBI National Academy.
