There’s nothing that reminds us more of how fortunate we are in Central Illinois to enjoy the bounty of local produce and meat and dairy products than a visit to a farm. We will visit the Rosenbohm farm and see what it takes to raise sheep, chickens, ponies and cows, along with the crops that feed them. We will also have the opportunity to buy farm fresh eggs and locally produced cheese. After our tour, we will dine at Fairview Farms with a country style dinner featuring chicken and roast beef with a variety of sides served family style. Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Tour includes transportation by bus from Hickory Hall to the farm and back to Hickory Hall, as well as a farm tour and dinner.
Thursday, June 13; 3:30 pm – 8 pm
