Illinois Central College is now offering new ways for first-time students to enroll and pay for summer classes. Summer registration is available now, and classes begin June 9.
The new “Rapid Registration” process makes enrolling in summer classes easier and faster than ever for students attending ICC for the first time. The new option allows current college students who have successfully completed English Composition 1 at an accredited university with a grade of “C” or better or who have scored an 18 or higher on the ACT reading test the option to speed through the registration process.
Potential students have two ways of using the Rapid Registration enrollment process:
Individuals interested in attending ICC for the first time can apply for the new “Experience ICC Scholarship,” which awards 50 percent of the cost of tuition up to $345 maximum to anyone within ICC’s district who has not previously taken a class at ICC. Students of all majors who are enrolled either full- or part-time and have at least a 2.0 GPA are eligible to apply, as are students who have taken only dual credit classes. Award is not based on need.

Applications for the “Experience ICC Scholarship” are available on a first-come, first-served basis now through June 9. Visit icc.edu/scholarships for more information and application forms.
Completed scholarship applications should be submitted to the address listed on the application.
