ICC again will offer a limited number of need-based scholarships for the fall 2015 semester to students in certain shorter duration, certificate programs which are not eligible for financial aid. Eligible courses of study include job-ready programs such as Nurse Assistant, EMT – Basic, Phlebotomist, Truck Driver Training, Child Development Basic, Cisco Networking Associate, Cisco Networking Professional, Web Designer, CNC Machine Operator, Welding Operator, HVAC Residential Installer.
Students may be enrolled either full- or part-time but must maintain a required academic standing of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. Scholarship award amounts range from $500 to $1500 and may be used for tuition at ICC, books and supplies.
To be eligible for consideration for the fall 2015 semester, students must complete the ICC scholarship application online at http://icc.edu/students/scholarships/ and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The application opens January 15, 2015. Deadline for applications is April 1, 2015.
