ICC in the News :: EMS Student Moriah Nau demos patient care to high school students

ICC Paramedic Student Moriah Nau volunteered at the Curriculum Fair hosted at Peoria High School this week. Moriah demonstrated how the ICC EMS Program uses high tech manikins like Trauma Hal (featured below) to teach top notch patient care to students.

Check out a video of Moriah’s demonstration courtesy of Journal Star photographer Ron Johnson below:

Moriah discovered her passion for emergency care as a high school student attending the annual Health Careers Expo hosted at the JUMP Trading Simulation & Education Center. Moriah became interested in patient care after learning from ICC students at the EXPO and now is presenting to high school students as an ICC Health Careers student herself.

Moriah Nau is a licensed EMT earning her Paramedic Certification at Illinois Central College.
