ICC Adult Community Programs is teaming up with the University of Illinois College of Medicine – Family Practice Department to host Dr. Mladen Golubic, medical director at Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Disease Reversal, for “Lifestyle Prescription for Modern Health Care.” The presentation includes Dr. Golubic’s strategies for improving outcomes for patients with Type 2 Diabetes and other metabolic disorders through new lifestyle choices. It is scheduled for Wednesday, April 27, from 7 to 8 p.m., in the Arbor Hall Auditorium on the ICC North Campus, located at 5407 N. University St., Peoria.
Dr. Golubic will discuss his successes in helping patients through stress management, exercise and fitness, and nutrition and cooking. Participants will learn the key role of lifestyle factors in the development and progression of common chronic diseases and how lifestyle choices may not only prevent but also treat these illnesses.
