Illinois Central College’s student chapter of WebProfessionals.org and Central Illinois Adobe User Group are co-hosting an Adobe® Behance portfolio review on Tuesday, May 12, from 6-8 pm, Room TC 309, on the East Peoria Campus.
The purpose of the review is to provide an opportunity for people to share creative work through Creative Cloud, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator using the Behance website. Behance is the leading platform where creative individuals showcase their work to receive proper credit online, connect with peers, and pursue career opportunities. Many top brands (like Apple, Google, and Nike) use Behance to find creative talent.
The Behance Portfolio Review provides an opportunity for creative individuals to meet in real life and connect with others in the community, including other Behance members. Participants will receive feedback on their work and have the opportunity to provide feedback to others.
“It is not necessary to be a member of the Behance community in order to participate, but if you do have a portfolio, it is a terrific way to share what you’ve been working on,” explained ICC Professor Mark DuBois. “This is just a great opportunity to meet other like-minded individuals and improve our work through constructive feedback.”
