ICC Graphic Design students design for a cause

ICC Graphic Design students partnered with the Pulse of Peoria Drumline this semester to help redesign the organization’s brochure materials.

Students worked with the drumline to update their recruitment and fundraising materials in a class competition – designs were evaluated on overall design and the ability to convey the message. The top design was picked by members of the Pulse of Peoria Drumline board and awarded by general manager Jeffery Mosher and youth leader Ethan Mosher.

Students coordinated and shot their own photoshoot with the drumline as part of the process.

The winning design was awarded to Nikita Taitingfong of Peoria, IL for her connection between the organization’s mission with drummers, personal quotes, and the incorporation of the Peoria skyline, among others factors.

The five other finalists considered for production were:

– Neil Berger
– Autumn Dale
– Lilly Lee
– Cody Pitman
– Diana VanWolvelaere
