The i>Clicker classroom response system has been adopted by a number of ICC instructors as a means of engaging their student’s attention, encouraging participation in class discussion, and as a means of collecting instant feedback from the class.

Clicker sets containing 40-50 student remotes, 2 instructor remotes, and a base receiver unit can be reserved by ICC faculty and staff for use in the classroom, in meetings, or for events.

Summer 2012 – The i>clicker Base Receiver Units are being upgraded to a new model. While the new base units work much the same way as the old ones, there are some differences to be aware of.

i>Clicker Integrate is a building block developed by i>Clicker for Blackboard that allows for one click uploading of your students’ clicker scores into the grade center of your Blackboard course.
This tool is now available for use at Illinois Central College. To use it, you must make the i>Clicker registration tool available within your Blackboard site, and use a copy of the i>Clicker software that has been modified to sync with ICC’s Blackboard servers.

If you wish to use i>Clicker’s Blackboard integration features, you will need to download this specially modified copy of the i>Clicker software. This copy of the software has been set up to be able to sync to ICC’s Blackboard servers.
