Philharmonic Chorale Performs May 5 At ICC Performing Arts Center

The Philharmonic Chorale, in residence at Illinois Central College, will present “An Evening of Music with the Philharmonic Chorale” featuring several genres of music on Saturday, May 5, at 7:30 pm in the ICC Performing Arts Center, East Peoria. The four segments of the concert focus on different types of music, including compositions with sacred texts, traditional American spirituals, beautiful love songs and humorous compositions. The group is in its 87th year and is directed by J. Michael Morris. Carol Spayer serves as accompanist. A free reception follows the concert.
